- Organised by the Diabetic Foot Journal in association with the Foot in Diabetes UK (FDUK)
- This conference is aimed at all healthcare professionals involved in the care of the person with diabetic foot problems: podiatrists, consultants, diabetologists, practice nurses, diabetes specialist nurses, tissue viability nurses, GPs, orthotists and vascular surgeons.
This year's event will illustrate the latest developments in diabetic foot care as well as offereing interactive, practical advice and CPD based learning opportunities. Essential clinical information at the conference will be followed by post-event easy-to-use online modules.
A mix of practical demonstrations (filmed live on stage and shown on the big screen), and step-by-step, educational videos will form the basis of a case study-based day focusing on (anonymous) audience responses to keypad questions designed to clarify and reinforce vital learning points around practical skills such as assessment, screening, offloading and ulcer classification as a basis for treatment choice.
We hope you will join us for this year's exciting and interactive event.
Matthew Young, Consultant Physician, Edinburgh
